Mr. Andrew Schroter teaches Mathematics and Theory of Knowledge in the Upper School. Prior to joining SJK, he taught the International Baccalaureate Programme for 15 years at Branksome Hall in Toronto. A patient and resourceful teacher, he aims to make his classroom a place where students have a positive, collaborative mathematical experience by solving problems, making conjectures, constructing proofs and developing a growth mindset. Mr. Schroter has a Master of Arts in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Toronto, a Master of Mathematics for Teachers from University of Waterloo, a Bachelor of Education from York University, and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
