Mr. Ben Wright

B.A. (Queen's University), B.Ed. (Queen's University)Member of Brock HouseMr. Ben Wright was born in Guelph and was an active member of his high school music and athletics departments. He studied Music and English at Queen’s University in Kingston before settling in Toronto where he taught at Greenwood College. After teaching Instrumental Music, Vocal Music and English for 11 years at Greenwood, Ben and his family moved to Fergus where he is excited to be joining the SJK community.
He has experience directing choirs, plays, and bands and is thrilled at the opportunity to conduct ensembles here at St. John’s-Kilmarnock. Mr. Wright believes that students should be provided with authentic learning experiences in the arts, and he strives to foster meaningful and accountable performance opportunities where students can feel a sense of belonging and accomplishment.
