Mrs. Jones is an outdoor enthusiast, passionate about discovery, travel, and creating a better tomorrow through teaching children eco initiatives, community engagement and continuous exploration throughout the world. Over the past two decades, Mrs. Jones has worked with youth in multiple capacities, gaining 15 years of experience working in schools.
Mrs. Jones is a mother of two, owner of a camper van and trailer rental business, and enjoys making things in so many different ways. This includes cooking and baking, sewing, painting, furniture and decor, and more. She loves learning about our amazing human brain, and how different things can affect our functioning, behaviour, and understanding.
Mrs. Jones decided to join SJK because she is looking to participate in a learning environment that provides tomorrow’s leaders with an amazing start in life through their education. She is excited to help SJK Kindergarten students develop a love for learning, a tight sense of community and appreciation for all the wonderful things that being a student has to offer. As a lifelong resident of Waterloo Region, and also a neighbour of SJK here in Woolwich Township, she is proud to now call St. John’s-Kilmarnock her employer.
