Ms. Kristy Purcell

Ms. Kristy Purcell is an educator with 20 years of international teaching experience, having taught across Canada, England and Singapore. Originally hailing from Alberta, Ms. Purcell's journey in education has been marked by a deep commitment to fostering student-led learning and nurturing individual talents.

Ms. Purcell's career has spanned various roles, including serving as a Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator, Literacy Specialist, and as an Advisor to the Admissions department. As an IB Workshop Leader, she finds fulfilment in teaching and mentoring fellow educators on the principles and values of the International Baccalaureate programme.

A passionate advocate for inquiry-based learning, Ms. Purcell believes that every student has unique strengths and potential. She is dedicated to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments where every student feels encouraged to take risks, ask questions, and be their authentic self.
