Ms. Dora Takacs

Ms. Dora Takacs grew up in Miskolc, Hungary and knew from a young age that her passion was language and travel. She became a French teacher in an Alliance Française in Hungary went on to teach French and economics before working with the French Embassy in Budapest as a translator.
She realized her heart was in teaching and returned to the classroom, teaching first in Hungary followed by Canada. Ms. Takacs has been with SJK since 2014 and subscribes to the teaching philosophy that the best teachers are those who show you where to look, but don't tell you what to see. Her favourite part about SJK is the warm community.
