It is truly heartwarming to have educators among us who have dedicated so many years to our School. Their enduring commitment and passion for teaching have not only positively impacted countless students but have also served as a wellspring of inspiration for us all.
Furthermore, we were delighted to bestow two Silver Eagle Awards, recognizing exceptional performance, contributions, and accomplishments within our School community. Mr. Paul Boyd was nominated by his peers for his unwavering dedication to teaching, exceptional coaching skills, and the profound influence he has had on countless students over the years. Mrs. Donna Garvin was also honoured with a Silver Eagle for consistently going above and beyond in her role as the Executive Assistant, Head of School, fostering a warm and positive atmosphere in the Main Office, demonstrating impeccable attention to detail, thoughtfulness in event planning, and unwavering dedication to the School community. Her impressive contributions made her an indisputably deserving candidate for the Silver Eagle Award.
In addition, we took great pleasure in presenting Dr. Auleen Carson with the Order of SJK in recognition of her extraordinary commitment and leadership within the School community. Since joining SJK in 2006, Auleen actively served in various roles, including Communications Chair, Parents' Association Representative to the Board, Vice President of the Parents' Association and Chair of the Board of Governors. Her pivotal role in school development, her mentorship, and her dedication to fostering a strong sense of community have had a profound impact. Her commitment even extended to the broader community through her involvement with Arts Milton and her philanthropic efforts. We are delighted to recognize Auleen for her exceptional leadership and invaluable contributions.
To all the honorees, we offer our heartfelt congratulations and our deepest gratitude for your extraordinary contributions to our community. Your dedication stands as the unshakable cornerstone of our ongoing success.
