Dr. Thanh-Thanh Tieu

Thanh-Thanh holds a PhD in social developmental psychology, a Master of Social Work, and is a Registered Social Worker. Her passion for education and mental health converges in her work as an educational researcher and consultant, where her expertise is on students’ transition from high school to university, participation in cocurricular activities and community involvement. Thanh-Thanh is a proud alum of Wilfrid Laurier University and has called Waterloo Region home since 1998. Thanh-Thanh and her husband Mark are the parents to two sons who have attended St. John’s-Kilmarnock School since Kindergarten. In addition to her service with the SJK Board, she is an active member of the School Community, volunteering at school events and previously served on the Executive of the SJK Parents' Association.
