Mr. Wil Carter

Wil Carter, an alumnus of St. John’s School in Elora, completed his education there from Grades 6 to 10. He furthered his academic journey with specialized training in mechanical engineering and pursued business administration studies at both Wilfred Laurier University and Queen’s University, complementing his expertise with a focus on concrete technology.

William is married to Mary Frances, and together they have raised three children—Matthew, Mackenzie, and Kate—all of whom are also alumni of St. John’s School.

As a founding member of The Canado Foundation, William has contributed significantly to philanthropic efforts. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident through his involvement in various business ventures, including Maryhill Park Estates, Imperial Road Inc., and Tullis Estates Limited.

For the past 20 years, William has indulged in his passion for restoring British sports cars, a hobby that combines his technical skills with his love for classic automobiles.
