Miss Annie Fickel is thrilled to be a member of the SJK community as the Learning Support Teacher in the Upper School. Having a keen interest in languages and language acquisition, Miss Fickel received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French and history at Queen's University, and her Bachelor of Education at Nipissing University for Intermediate/Senior French as a Second Language and history. Her teaching journey began in a vibrant primary classroom in London, England, where she spent four impactful years fostering an inclusive learning environment. Later, her passion led her to a rewarding role as an academic support teacher at Trinity College School, where she honed her skills in providing tailored assistance to students with diverse learning needs. She is excited to continue championing and advocating for SJK's students along their unique educational journeys.
