The SJK Foundation

From our school’s inspired beginnings around a kitchen table in Elora, SJK has been built by its community. From drawing up plans for the original school site to funding the facilities on each campus to planting the trees we now see along the driveway, the tradition of giving—of one’s time, expertise and charitable support—has been essential to our growth and success.  This SJK tradition has made the existing campus what it is today, including the original school building, the Chapel, Gymnasium, Boathouse, Boardwalk and Newton House.  Without support from our SJK families, our campus simply would not exist.  

As the current Chair of the Foundation Board, past SJK Board Governor—with twelve years of service, past parent, and now, as the grandparent of a future SJK student, I feel fortunate to be part of this caring community that has been fostered to endure for generations.

A tradition of giving has made the existing campus what it is today. Without support from our SJK families, our campus simply would not exist.  We hope that you will join in the tradition of many generations of SJK families and contribute to advancing the outstanding learning experience at SJK.
